Name: James Roockley
Home Town: Hensall (Castleford Snowdome)
Nationality: English
What's your role at WDF: Factory rider
What does WDF mean to me: The chance to represent a ski company that stands for everything I enjoy about skiing. Big lines, charging and some jibbin thrown in there.
What does skiing mean to me: an opportunity to express myself.
How do I ski: with a great big cheesy smile, even if its under my bandana.
My favourite WDF ski and length is / why: The One - 180 cm Nice and poppy and solid underfoot.
My best results / Memorable moment: Any day with my friends riding some pow or park just giving all for no reason. I also love watching some of the younger kids I used to ski with in England grow and become super sick rippers.
When I'm not skiing I'm: pretty much finding other things to keep the thrills up.
My favourite quote is: "Do not fear death so much, but rather, the inadequate life" - Bertolt Brecht
